Donnie and Mona: Science Nerds

I remembered that in the episode from the 80's that Mona was in, had her in college for some sort of science (if I remember right). I got the idea that for the 2012 series maybe she would be a science nerd in school and now is helping Donnie try to find a cure for the mutagen. I'm sure Donnie would be happy to finally have someone who understands what he's talking about, at least a little bit lol.
